"I have known Mrs. Kinga Mitrowska since the fall of 2008 when I first started taking private vocal lessons with her. I was in my church choir for years before that and once I started getting solos I knew I wanted to start taking lessons. As a nine-year-old child I was intrigued by her approach to teaching music - it was fun, dynamic and I saw fast progress.
Mrs. Mitrowska has been my vocal teacher since the beginning of her vocal studio. She tailors to the specific need of each student; she chooses repertoire that suits our voice while staying open to our preferences of style and genre. Besides teaching us proper singing technique, she coaches our musicality and expression. All these aspects are important and she helps bring them all together. She also prepares us for auditions, RCM exams, festivals and concerts. Throughout all of this she remains positive and motivational.
Every year, Mrs. Mitrowska organizes concerts to provide her students with a platform to perform and learn from one another. One notable concert and fond memory was the “Magical Broadway Concert” in the May of 2017 where she directed, choreographed and performed along with us a two-act spectacle featuring famous music theatre numbers. It taught us the value of teamwork, stage etiquette and compassion.
Mrs. Mitrowska is a committed, hardworking and honest teacher and person. I have no hesitation recommending her to any potential student. It has been nothing but a pleasure being her student!"

Jacob Skiba
Mrs. Kinga Mitrowska is a one of a kind vocal teacher. My son Jacob has been taking lessons for over 5 years now and we are extremely happy with the progress he has made under her direction and guidance. She does an incredible job in teaching her students how to sing and develop their voice but that is not all! They also learn how to how to act, dance and perform on stage with a great deal of confidence. She is the kind of teacher that truly cares about her students and really wants them to be successful.
During the preparation for the Broadway concerts, her passion for music and commitment to her students are evident. Jacob really enjoys his lessons with Mrs. Mitrowska and what is important he always has fun. It has been an incredible journey and we are looking forward to the next chapter.

I have been taking lessons with Kinga Mitrowska since I was very young. I can honestly say that without her expertise and training, I would not be the kind of singer I am today. She has allowed me to grow stronger as a singer and help me build confidence on stage and even off stage in my personal life. She’s helped me win countless of competitions and helped prepare me for the toughest performances I had ever had to do.
With her help, I was able to win First Place in the Eugene De Mazenod Christmas concert 3 years in a row. Second Place at a competition held by the Polish Women’s Confederation in Toronto. Third Place in the Great Composers Competition that was held for everyone worldwide. Amid all of these achievements and many more others, she has also provided me with numerous opportunities to perform with some of Mississauga’s talented musicians as well as guests from Poland.
What makes Kinga different and in my opinion the best vocal coach, is her motivation to take that extra step for her students and find ways to publicise her students talents and get them performing for live audiences because my vocal teachers out there do not provide this type of service.

I feel so fortunate to be taught my Mrs. Kinga Mitrowska. She is truly a remarkable teacher! I sang recreationally throughout my life, but when I started lessons with her a few years ago to get classically trained, my voice developed in ways I would have never imagined! In the short time studying with her I have won various competitions, sang in concerts in Canada and abroad, and developed a serious passion for classical singing.
Mrs. Kinga Mitrowska caters to your unique voice and gives you a well-rounded experience: she picks pieces and genres that best suit your voice and your interests, teaches you how to act and interpret the pieces, prepares you for concerts, competitions or exams, provides opportunities to appear on stage, and so much more. Classes with her are always enjoyable, inspiring, productive and valuable. She puts her heart into her teaching and is a kind and warm person who is such a pleasure to work with. It's an honour to be able to work with a highly educated and experienced professional musician.
